Mine
Mineral exploration is a key link in resource development: through technologies such as muzi imaging, the distribution of ore bodies can be accurately located, avoiding the high costs associated with multi drilling exploration.
Case Study
Zaozigou Gold Mine
From May to December 2022, the first domestic mineral exploration was carried out at the Gannan Zaozigou gold mine. We have upgraded the detector system for the exploration scenario, by designing vehicles, supporting various facilities, building collection terminal systems and UI interfaces, which can achieve online data collection and remote monitoring of the measurement environment and status. Developed a versatile and domestically produced Muzi 3D imaging system software for multiple scenarios. Six sets of muzi imaging systems were used to carry out three-dimensional muzi imaging of the target mining area in the Zaozigou mining area, reconstructing the gold ore body above the roadway, as well as low-density abnormal areas within the imaging area, including goaf, unfilled goaf, and limonite siliceous slate. The imaging results were basically consistent with the geological exploration results (as shown in Figure 1-2). This experiment verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the cosmic ray muon 3D exploration system in field experiments, and also demonstrated the sensitivity and application value of cosmic ray muon imaging technology in ore body reconstruction, geological body detection, goaf detection, and other aspects.
